September 2, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): A buzz was rife about the release date of Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer upcoming movie ‘Ra.One’. It was reported yesterday that the sci-fi movie is going to hit the theaters on 3rd June, 2011. But now, SRK has come up to clarify the matter through his Twitter page.
Shah Rukh, who is playing a superhero in the movie for the first time has posted on his twitter page that the release date of the film ‘Ra.One’ has not been declared yet unlike the widespread media reports.
The media reports on 31st August suggested that SRK, who is also the producer of the movie, is going to release it next year on 3rd June.
Denying the reports, SRK said ironically that it is nice to know that someone has already fixed the release date for ‘Ra.One’ because he is not aware of any such declaration. The superstar added that may be the person who has spread this rumor can go ahead to finish the movie. SRK further said that the date of releasing the movie would be announced discussing with the office guys, which should be sometime around June next year of course
Well, even if the exact date is not announced the supposed time of release seems to stand somewhere close to the rumored time frame!
