On Wednesday, on the occasion of World Yoga Day, filmmakers Subhash Ghai celebrated Yoga Day in his acting and filmmaking institute Whistling Wood in Mumbai. Actor Shreyas Talpade’s wife Deepti Talpade also joined him in this initiative.
Subhash Ghai said, “I am very happy that my students are celebrating 3rd year of World Yoga Day in our campus. Yoga is important for us because in whistling woods campus, we all are artistes and for creative thinkers like us it is very activity in our day to day life”
He added, “We regularly organize yoga classes and we have meditation centre as well in our institute. Now we are looking to expand this initiative so that more and more students can join this yoga movement. I feel yoga education should be made compulsory in school and colleges which is essential for overall growth of our personality”
Shreyas Talpade wife Deepti also added, “It’s a great initiative. Personally me and Shreyas practice yoga everyday and I feel yoga makes huge difference to body and soul so it a must activity for everyone right from kids to older ones.”
Subhash Ghai lastly directed Kaanchi: The Unbreakable which released in 2014.
