Yash Raj Production launched the trailer of their forthcoming film, ‘Sui Dhaaga‘, on Monday morning.
The production house’s official Twitter account shared the trailer and wrote, “?? ?????? ?? because it’s time for threads, sewing machine, action! Presenting #SuiDhaagaMadeInIndiaTrailer | @Varun_dvn | @AnushkaSharma | @SuiDhaagaFilm | @Sharatkatariya | #ManeeshSharma”
The Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharam starrer story is about finding love and respect through self-reliance. Its plot is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy and takes a leaf out of the Make In India campaign.
The trailer of the film starts with Varun Dhawan’s voiceover talking about his Dada (Grandfather)’s failed business and their financial condition which isn’t good. He then introduces Anushka Sharma, as Mamata, his wife with whom he has a very minimal relationship. His father does not like him and his employers do not respect him. Fed up Anushka implores him to get out of this routine and start something of their own with his own talent. When Varun’s business does kick off they are shows facing the hard realities of the Indian textile market.
Varun Dhawan is seen as a tailor and Anushka Sharma as an embroidery craftswoman. The makers at the trailer launch of the film put on display the 15 unique logos created for the film promotion from artisans all over the country.
Directed by Sharat Kataria and produced by Maneesh Sharma, “Sui Dhaaga” will release on September 28.
