Sunny Leone plays the role of a warrior princess in this period drama, Veeramadevi. It is been reported that she has specifically learned horse riding and sword fighting for this role. The film is helmed by Vadivudaiyan, the movie is touted to be a mega-budget period drama that promises hardcore special effects. The film will be produced by Ponse Stephen under the Steves Corner banner and it will be a trilingual release.

Apart from making a Tamil debut, Sunny Leone is also working with Manish Paul on Hindi remake of 2012 Punjabi film Jatt & Juliet.
Sunny Leone was last seen in Tera Intezaar, a 2017 supernatural-romantic drama film directed by Raajeev Walia, also starring Arbaaz Khan.
