Taapsee Pannu, who has been doing a variety of projects ranging from Bollywood to South films to short films, is all set to gear up for a thriller titled Badla and now the actress has kick-started the shooting for the film in Scotland.
“This is going to be a riveting thriller. It’s Sujoy’s favorite genre and I am yet another time out of my comfort zone which I actually enjoy the most,” Taapsee said in a statement.
Taapsee said that she is going to explore a “new side” of herself with this character and film directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee is excited to share screen space with the megastar for the second time after “Pink”.
“When you are in safe hands of a brilliant filmmaker and an ace co-actor there is nothing to fear,” Taapsee, who will be seen playing the role of an entrepreneur in the film” she added.
The film which is said to be a remake of the Spanish film The Invisible Guest will also star Amitabh Bachchan.
Apart from Badla, Taapsee Pannu is currently busy promoting sports biopic, Soorma, which also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Angad Bedi in leading roles. The film is based on Indian hockey player Sandeep Singh and directed by Shaad Ali.
Taapsee is also part of Mulq and Manmarziyaan.
