On Tuesday, Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha and filmmaker Shyam Benegal attended Whistling Woods International Film School 10th Convocation ceremony along with its founder Subhash Ghai and Megha Ghai Puri in Mumbai. While speaking to the media, Sinha stated that there will be no better candidate than Amitabh Bachchan to hold coveted of post of President of India in near future.

Earlier, there were reports that BJP may name Amitabh Bachchan as their official candidate for the post of India’s president but that didn’t happen and Shatrughan Sinha was the leader from BJP who proposed Bachchan’s name for the prestigious battle, reacting to that, Sinha said, “Now there is no scope and space, but I always think and wish that there will be no better candidate Amitabh Bachchan for the post of India’s president in near future as he has been successful in every possible front. He is one of the finest human being and well experienced man. He is very popular and holds really good image among people so I feel in near future he will be best candidate for the post of President of India.”

Sinha also talked about debate of nepotism in the industry, he said, “These (Neoptism) things are only sake of discussion. This used to happen earlier and it happens now also and it will keep continue happening in future as well. I feel audience of entire country will decide who is going to sustain in the industry cutting across states like UP and Bihar, Mumbai, Delhi”.

“There are many star sons and daughters who have done really well and some of them haven’t so I feel it is not bad because if star kids have required talent and aptitude then we have no right to stop them from doing what they want to do so it also doesn’t mean that we are promoting them over talent outside industry. It all boils down to talent, passion, result of their films and acceptance from the audience”.

There was news that biopic on Shatrughan Sinha is in the talks, reacting to that, Sinha said, “There are talks about my biopic and some people are also interested in making my biopic. If anyone decided to do so, then it will be motivating, gripping and with lots of twists and turns”
When asked who is perfect to enact him onscreen, he said, “Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer singh doing really good work. Govinda and Anil kapoor also did some good work in the past but I feel Amitabh Bachchan is best and latest newcomer of the industry till now”.

Recently, Nawazuddin tweeted about racism is the industry, reacting to that, Sinha said, “Firstly, I want to appeal media to ban such fair and lovely advertisements because such things demoralize the audience and it sends wrong message to them. Apart from that, I feel if you have talent and you are doing good work then you have examples of people like Me, Amitabh Bachchan, Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah, Danny Denzongpa who did quality work despite their not so conventional Hindi film actor looks”.

Sinha also talked about returning to cinema or television, he said, “I have become multi-dimensional personality. I have done cinema, television, politics and theatre as well but I feel there should be ample time to do all these things right now but if anything interesting comes my way which suit my stature, image and age then I will definitely work on that project”.
Sinha also talked about his daughter Sonakshi’s film career, he said, “I feel in showbiz, art and culture, there are no last moment just like politics. Till today, we feel that there is lot of scope for improvement in our work. I feel you can’t grow as an artist if you don’t have the passion to better you works in the long run. “
“I am happy with Sonakshi’s career. God has been very kind to her. She has done some good work in
