Twice the Fun ‘Twice the Entertainment’ This Diwali

With the super success of Bal Ganesh, Shemaroo Entertainment brings back the kids’ favorite “Gannu” who captured the imagination of millions. This Diwali, ‘Bal Ganesh 2’ is all set to woo children once again with new exciting adventure of baby Ganesh’s childhood days. The escapade unfurls on screens across the country on October 23rd, 2009.

The 3D animation delight Bal Ganesh 2 is a film by Shemaroo Entertainment in association with Astute Media Vision. This sequel explores fresh new heroic tales of Bal Ganesh as he battles with the wicked and powerful rakshas- Gajamukhasur, competes with the intelligent Maharshi Vyasa and his several naughty antics along with his Mooshak and friends. Spiced with foot-tapping music and great humor…this is definitely a visual treat for the entire family

Announcing the launch, Smita Maroo, VP Animation, Shemaroo Entertainment said, “The overwhelming response to Bal Ganesh prompted us to consider a sequel and here it is Shemaroo Entertainment has been consistently delivering strong Animation content and we are glad that Bal Ganesh 2 is the first Indian Animation release of 2009.”

This fun filled top-of-the-line 3D animatronics with a great musical mélange will hear vocals of the legendary Sukhwinder Singh, Suresh Wadkarji, Niraj Sridhar and is composed by melodically blessed Shamir Tandon.

Along with these renowned singers, new talent from Zee Lil Champs has been given an opportunity by Shemaroo Entertainment to begin their first journey in world of playback singing.

Bal Ganesh won the best animated feature film and best animated character at the Lil Star Awards 2008 clearly making Bal Ganesh the most loved character amongst all Indian kids.
