The Debutante Utkarsh Sharma is grateful for the overwhelming response Genius teaser has been getting, expresses his gratitude for the support on his social media profile.
The first official teaser for Genius, starring Utkarsh Sharma and Ishitha Chauhan, and directed by director Anil Sharma, was released online on Wednesday. An entire brigade of Bollywood celebrities came out in support of the young talented boy.
Celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Dharmendra Deol, Sunny Deol and many more shared the teaser of Genius and wished the young actor very best for his debut movie.
And now Utkarsh Sharma took to his social media profile and thanked everyone for the support. He wrote, “Thank you for the overwhelming response for @genius_themovie teaser. Utakrsh has previously played Jeetey as a child actor in Gadar. He plays the role of a RAW agent masquerading as a college student and in the teaser; he is seen falling in love with Ishitha’s character, which complicates matters.
Utkarsh’s character happens to be an orphan, who just wants to find his one true love in life. How he navigates the hurdles is what the film is about. The trailer itself doesn’t delve too much into the specifics but concentrates on reminding the audiences that their favorite child actor is back.
The movie also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Ayesha Jhulka, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Malti Chehar, Abhimanyu Singh, K K Raina and Dev Gil in pivotal roles.
The film is directed by Anil Sharma and the music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya. The movie opens in cinemas on 24th Aug 2018.
