Actor Gurmeet Chaudhary, who was last seen onscreen in ‘Paltan’, has said that now, he wants to be part of content driven films.

Gurmeet Chaudhary was interacting with the media when he walked the ramp for fashion designer Asa Kaznigmei at Lakme Fashion Week on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Recently, Gurmeet played role of an Indian soldier in JP Dutta’s war-drama film ‘Patlan’, when asked him about his future projects, he said, “I feel today it has become really important to be a part of content driven films. In my last 2-3 films, I can proudly say that we worked really hard in those films so, now I wanted to be part of content driven so, I am thinking and looking that kind of films. I am meeting lots of people for narration of the films. I am in talks on many projects but till the time it doesn’t get finalized, I will not be able to make announcement about it.”

When asked Gurmeet his personal fashion mantra, he said, “I feel you should feel comfortable after you wear a certain outfit. If you are not comfortable in what you are wearing then other people also notice that thing so, comfort is the main aspect when it comes to style and fashion. I think Asa (Kazingmei) is the one guy who creates comfortable outfits for me. I always call him during my film promotions so, I am glad that I am here to represent his collections at Lakme Fashion Week.”

Sharing his experience walking the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week, Gurmeet said, “I always wanted to be a showstopper at Lakme Fashion Week. When you come from a small town to enter in the film industry that time, you wish to walk the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week. Last year, first time, I walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week and this year is also started with walking the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week. I feel while walking the ramp some people come with different kind of image but I feel you should be yourself while walking the ramp where you can laugh and have a good time over there.”

I try to follow western countries fashion trends in my personal styling.”
