November 17, 2010 : Reality television show ‘Dancing With The Stars’ is welcoming its finale soon and Bristol Palin is no longer a part of the show. Bristol the Pistol, as she is more popularly known, did show off great dancing skills on the semifinal episode, but her talents probably fell short of those projected by co-contestants Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey and Brandy.
Sarah Palin’s daughter started her semifinal performance with a paso doble, which according to the DWTS judges and dance analysts was a treat for the eye. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba even gave the teenage girl a special hug for her performance, and Len Goodman termed it as her best in the entire season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’. Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas danced with a vigor which was hardly visible in their previous performances. But it was the follow-up performance, a waltz, which left the judges disappointed with the girl. The same Carrie Ann Inaba was in the second time stiff without appreciation.
As the episode progressed, it became clear that Sarah Palin’s daughter was clearly at a disadvantage when it came to comparing her dance moves with that of the other contestants. Jennifer Grey and Brandy were probably the best performers of the semifinal episode, both hitting the 30s on the scorecard. Kyle Massey bagged the second position among the four pairs of contestants left on the show, thus making Bristol Palin the unlucky girl.
