New show on cross dressing to go on air

A new show titled “Raavi”, about a child who is made to cross dress as a boy, is ready to hit the small screen.

“Raavi” is the story of a girl’s journey who is brought up as Ravinder.

Scheduled to begin Sep 9, the show will air on BIG Magic.

The storyline revolves around Amrita, who is married to Kawaljeet. But Kawaljeet is brutally murdered by his father’s step brother.

This changes Amrita’s life drastically. Then begins her journey as a mother who has to protect her family and her little girl – Raavi, whose identity has to be kept secret at all times.

Actress Rashmi Singh, who has been a part of shows like “Dwarkadheesh” and “Jambuvanti”, will be seen as Amrita while Rimi Shrivastav will essay the character of Raavi.
