The Suriya-Nayanatara starrer ‘Adavan‘ produced by Stalin and directed by KS Ravikumar in Tamil, is being dubbed into Telugu with a title ‘Ghatikudu‘. Popular producer, trader and Rajahmundry Rural MLA Chandana Ramesh bagged the dubbing rights in Telugu, while Chandana Nageswar is the presenter.

Giving details, Ramesh says,

“The Tamil original is coming up with a whopping budget of Rs 42 crore. We are happy to bag the Telugu dubbing rights. Over 25 fight masters worked for the film. The introduction chase was shot in Kolkata under the action choreography of fight masters from France. Popular actress of yesteryears B Saroja Devi is acting in the film after a gap of almost 20 years. She is playing the role of hero’s mother. Another specialty of the film is that- generally, some child artiste would play the role of the hero in his childhood, but in this film, Suriya himself played the child artiste’s role too. Harris Jayaraj scored music for the movie. We are planning to launch the audio during this month end and are making efforts to release the film in October.”

Murali, Vadivelu, Anandbabu, Ramesh Khanna, Sayaji Shinde, Rahul Dev, Vijayan Master, Riaz Khan, Anu Hassan, Manobala, Alex and others are in the caste. Story is by Ramesh Khanna, dialogues are by Sriramakrishna, music is by Harris Jayaraj, lyrics are by Bhuvanachandra, camera is by Ram Ganesh, action is by Kanal Kannan and Franz (South Africa), editing is by Don Macs, while art is by Rajeevan.
