Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar Raj has the Bollywood’s first family – Aishwarya, Abhishek and Amitabh. RGV says Sarkar Raj is not a sequel to Sarkar nor is it a Bachchan family package, “Casting them (the Bachchans) together was incidental. Abhishek and Mr Bachchan were the first preferences and then I chose Aishwarya.â€
RGV also acknowledged that Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag, a remake of the blockbuster Sholay, was the biggest flop in the history. He adds that the uniqueness of Sarkar Raj is his direction and the actor’s performances.
RGV says, “Sarkar Raj would have been all the same even if the character played by Aishwarya would have been played by a man.†RGV confirms that Aishwarya has proved her mettle in this film.
