Sanjay Dutt who is busy promoting his comeback film ‘Bhoomi’ during an interview spoke about how fast track justice system is a necessity for violence against women and children.
Bhoomi is a very social film and since Sanjay has been part of different ears, he was asked if he thinks Women and children are more unsafe now than before, “ I think it is unsafe for women and children, look what happened in Gurgaon yesterday. I think it is shameful for something like that to happen to a 7 yr old child. I don’t think such things should happen, people should be educated enough to reduce these crimes. I believe in Women empowerment, in save girl child and educate the girl child, and in non-violence against women.
While growing up I was always surrounded by women since childhood, whether it was sister, mother, wife or now daughters. I think it’s high time we should do something and these things should be condemned and fast track justice system should take place. Now yesterday’s case will take forever in court and why should it, that’s brutality towards the family.”
Munna Bhai series update, “as far as I know right now and from the conversations, I had with Raju- Ji, and Vinod-Ji, scripting is going on right now. As soon as they finish shooting for Biopic, Raju-Ji will start working on the script himself. And I am hoping by everyone’s wishes and God’s grace the film will be ready by next year.
When asked about the teaser release before years ago about ‘Munna Bhai Chale America’ and if the new film will be on the lines of the teaser, Sanjay said, “ no I don’t think so since I can’t get an American Visa it’s not going to happen.”
