Sanjay Dutt who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, ‘Bhoomi‘ launched the Ganesh Aarti on Friday at T-series celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Bhushan Kumar from T-series and lead actor Sunjay Dutt with wife Mannayata were present at the launch of the Ganesh Aarti from ‘Bhoomi’. The actor sang the Aarti as it depicts an important part in the movie. The Arti will be a part of ‘Bhoomi’s’ Album.
“Yes, it is a special day we just launched the Aarti. We thought about the plan suddenly, for me to record because I have also sung in the movie. It all happened very quickly and I think it’s because of Ganpatiji’s blessing that I got a chance to do this. I was very nervous at the recording but thankfully everything went very well and peacefully.” Said Sanjay Dutt during a media interaction.
When asked to enlighten the audience about the film and what he wishes for the film, Sanjay said,“The film is a story about a father daughter relationship. I have always been saying, save girl child and educate them; the film helps support these beliefs. I just wish that our hard in Bhoomiwork pays off, I just wish that Bhushan and our relationship last forever with T-series. I pray and I wish everyone a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi.”
Aditi Rao Hydari was also present with Omung Kumar to receive a blessing from Lord Ganesha, while speaking to media Aditi said, “This year, this celebration is special because this is Bhoomi’s first promotional event we launched the Ganesh Aarti. I am very happy that we were able to launch it today. It is always a positive atmosphere on Ganesh Chaturthi.”
Director Omung Kumar further added, “It’s a great way to begin, our film also stars with a Ganesh Aarti so it is a very auspicious day for us today.”
Bhoomi is a revenge drama that centers on the relationship between a father and a daughter. Bhoomi was initially going to release on 4th August but the makers had to push the release date to September 22. The film cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sidhant Gupta.
Sanjay Dutt will appear in ‘Bhoomi’ after a long break of 3 years. The actor was last seen in 2014’s ‘PK’ along with Amir Khan and Anushka Sharma.
Aditi Rao was last seen in 2016’s ‘Fitoor’ and ‘The Legend of Michael Mishra’. She has Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Aur Devdas’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ in the pipeline.
Bhoomi presented by T series and Legend studios will be released on September 22, 2017.
