Celebrated for his memorable role as Hathoda Tyagi in ‘Paatal Lok’, Abhishek Banerjee now ventures into a new domain. He’s ready to captivate viewers as Bhuvan in the riveting investigative thriller, ‘Aakhri Sach‘.
The plot of ‘Aakhri Sach’ unfolds over a single, fateful night. With a family caught in a web of multiple deaths, the narrative reveals simmering tensions. Inspired by real-life incidents, this series plunges deep into each character’s psyche.
While Tamannaah Bhatia brings life to Anya, the tenacious lead investigative officer, she sets out determinedly to uncover the truth behind the mysterious deaths.
Abhishek candidly opened up about the challenges he faced in embodying Bhuvan. He said, “To step into his shoes and align with his mindset was tough. As actors, it’s sometimes unsettling to see how effortlessly we can justify our characters’ actions, no matter how heinous. That’s the craft, though.”

Delving further, he shared, “A few scenes towards the end, particularly the one with characters hanging, sent shivers down my spine. Even with the awareness of being on a set, the grim reality of such an incident overwhelmed me.”
The series promises an intense emotional ride, boasting a star-studded cast. Apart from Tamannaah and Abhishek, the lineup includes notable names like Shivin Narang, Danish Iqbal, Nishu Dikshit, Kriti Vij, and Sanjeev Chopra.
Nirvikar Films has taken the helm of production for ‘Aakhri Sach’, with Robbie Grewal directing the vision and Saurav Dey weaving the storyline. Fans can stream this engaging thriller on Disney+ Hotstar starting August 25.
On another note, Abhishek continues to make waves in the industry. Viewers can anticipate his appearance as Shahrukh in the upcoming ‘Dream Girl 2‘, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday.
He recently showcased his versatility in ‘Bhediya‘, a comedy horror offering, sharing the screen with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, under the direction of Amar Kaushik.
