Rajeev Khandelwal, Sushma Reddy at the Silent Noise by Saini S Johray in Viewing Room, Colaba, Mumbai on 7th Oct 2011 .
Taking cues from the movie “Soundtrack”, Saini S Johray has expressed the ill-consistences of Noise Pollution via his sculptural installations. His art exhibition was held today at th Viewing Rom, Colaba. The Helen Keller institute supports the initiative and joined hands with the artist. The art exhibition saw Rajeev Khandelwal launching the exhibition with Dhurendra Dubey from Helen Keller institute and saying No to Noise Pollution. The other celebrities that came to support the artist were Sushama Reddy and Aditya Shastri of HMV.
Mr. Saini’s installation range from 6 inches to 6 feet and through them he stresses on the vulnerability of one of our most precious gifts of nature, ‘the sense of Hearing’ and the havoc caused by the outrageous decibel levels in any given Urban setting. He worked on 7 sculptural installations that were exclusively showcased at the exhibition today.
Saini S Johray through his exhibition purely defined the meaning of ART in his sculptures.
