Shemaroo strikes Rs. 260 millions Satellite deal with Zee
Shemaroo Entertainment makes a deal with Zee TV for satellite broadcast rights of 10 Hindi films.
This agreement includes rights of well known movies namely ‘Dhamaal’, ‘Dhol’, ‘Manorama Six Feet Under’, ‘Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar’, ‘Raqeeb’, ‘Yatra’ and ‘Anuranan’ [Hindi version] among others. Zee TV has bought the satellite broadcast rights of these movies at a value of Rs. 260 millions.
Vinod Karani, VP Content Syndication, Shemaroo Entertainment shares his thoughts, ‘We are really glad to be associated with Zee, for the various satellite delivered rights of these popular movies. Content syndication involves a lot of thought and planning, keeping in mind the nature of content and the platform of syndication. We are certain that this satellite deal with Zee will prove beneficial to both’.
