Wadhawan Lifestyle I AM She 2011 finalists make their first public appearance with an NGO visit in association with Venky’s. Ms Sushmita Sen presents a cheque to the NGO on behalf of the I AM Foundation. Mumbai, July 7, 2011: Just before the 2011 edition of Wadhawan Lifestyle I AM She 2011 beauty pageant transcended into the final phase, the 20 gorgeous finalists alongwith their mentor, Sushmita Sen, launched a commendable nationwide campaign with Venky’s and Suniel & Mana Shetty’s NGO, Save The Children India. This campaign was launched with an aim to serve children from the marginalized sections of society with.
It was the simple act of presenting a cheque to the NGO by Ms Sushmita Sen that got many teary eyed as hearts filled up with compassion. This as a day would not only be cherished by the children but also by the 20 finalists, who would file this moment in their beauty diaries.
For the 20 finalists of Wadhawan Lifestyle I AM She 2011, this benevolent act was the beginning of their social mission of lending a helping hand towards the needy and engaging themselves in crucial social issues affecting society’s growth.
About I AM Foundation
The winners of I AM She 2011 will be women with a heart and a soul, as they support the I AM Foundation – the CSR vertical of I AM. The pageant hopes to inspire the youth and ignite the nation’s collective consciousness towards social issues such as child adoption, child education, women empowerment etc. For this purpose I AM Foundation will be tying up with NGO’s who support these causes.
