Harrison James is one Indian born fitness trainer who has taken the fitness industry by storm. The winner of the Best Body for Gladrags 2003, Harrison’s Calisthenic form of work out training programmes are a rage among the Bollywood glitterati as they do not require any equipment and can be performed in almost any location.

The lanky young man, who is also the face of brands like Fastrack, Samsung, Sparxx shoes, HSBC bank, Timex watches, Gen X among others and a part of the Survivors show on Star Plus, with Sucheta Sharma, got his friends together to celebrate with Zia Shaikh and Wasim Shaikh of Svenska Design Hotel, Andheri (W).

Harrison James and Sucheta Sharma were the first to arrive followed by sufi singer Mudasir Ali. Models Candice Pinto, Aanchal Kumar and Urvashi Sharma. While the women were busy posing for shutterbugs, Mudasir Ali generally preferred the roast chicken fare over pictures with pretty women.

The evening was replete with exciting cocktails and mocktails at the chic Miro Lounge, followed by the mouth-watering Mediterranean cuisine of Miro, the award-winning speciality restaurant at Svenska Design Hotel made for the night a gourmet would kill for.

The menu prepared by Svenska’s culinary team included amazing stuffed baguette, chicken & leek soup, Spanish patatas bravas, wood-fired oven hand-tossed pizzas and various other gourmet delights. The desserts (Spanish Churros and Baked Yoghurt) were a hit with everyone, including Harrison James, Zia Shaikh and Wasim Shaikh of Svenska, Urvashi Sharma, Sucheta Sharma, Anusha Srinivasan Iyer, Mudasir Ali, Muzammil Ibrahim, Mudassar Ibrahim, Candice Pinto, JD Majetia, Abhinav Shukla, Alicia Raut, Monisha Khatwani, Kunika Lal, Pooja Misrra, Dr Mukul Dabholkar, Deepti Gujral, Iris Maity, Aanchal Kumar, among others.

“Zia and Wasim Shaikh are dear friends and I simply love the Mediterranean cuisine here. When Sucheta and I wanted to throw a bash, we could not think or any other place except he one where we love to spend our moments together.”
