Miss Diva 2013 winners

The winners of the Miss Diva 2013 were declared at a star-studded event yesterday. The Miss Diva 2013 winner represents the country at Miss Universe 2013, to be held in Moscow November 9th. Kindly find attached the press release along with the photographs for the same.The winners are Mansi Moghe (Miss Diva 2013), Gurleen Grewal (Miss Diva 2013 1st runner-up), Srishti Rana (Miss Diva 2013 2nd runner-up).

Mumbai, September 5: Miss Diva 2013 Finale will see a grand celebration of India Beauty personified by 14 finalists, who were seen fulfilling their dreams. Miss India Organization puts up yet another spectacular show amongst much fanfare and glitterati. The winner of Miss Diva will proudly represent India at Miss Universe on November 9, 2013 in Moscow. The once in a lifetime opportunity let the young talented and beautiful divas add their names next to the likes of Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, Juhi Chawla, Neha Dhupia, Namrata Shirodkar, Gul Panag and many more.

After travelling through the length and breadth of the country, to choose diverse and unique talent, the moment has finally arrived where one amongst thousands will take home the most prestigious and coveted crown of Miss Diva 2013.

The night will begin with the crowning of a string of sub-contests such as Eyetex Miss Beautiful eyes, Miss Photogenic, Miss Runway, amongst others where the finalists were judged on various parameters. The grand finale celebrating beauty and glamour will be seen attended by stalwarts of the fashion, glamour and entertainment brigade. The evening will be hosted by popular RJ Mantra & Vivan Bhatena who are known for being exceptional hosts and entertainers.
The show will be adjudged by renowned personalitie like Zeenat Aman, Raveena Tandon, Malaika Arora Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Kunal Kapoor, Atul Kasbekar and Former Miss Canada Sahar Biniaz. The audience will be highly entertained by stand-up comedians Vrajesh Hirjee and Sunil Grover. The evening will also witness a sizzling performance by the sensuous model & actor Gauhar Khan, making the audience want more.

The finalists were seen walking the ramp for the first round in edgy yet elegant and sophisticated LBD’s by esteemed designer Swapnil Shinde. The dresses designed exclusively for Miss Diva 2013 finale represent confidence; power & strength are inspired from the power icon of 80’s- Madonna. These LBD’s have been made from fabrics like from pure silks, georgette’s, and sequin sheath’s which have been embellished with gold metallic chains and Swarovski to add an element of futurism and classicism and further enhanced by custom made belts in gold and gunmetal grey.
Being known for elegance, feminity and sensuality, Mandira Wirk brings it again in her gowns, worn by the finalists of Miss Diva 2013 for the Finale round. The girls looked gorgeous in the colour pallette of champagne, making each of them look sensuous and gorgeous. Each gown has been worked upon keeping the contestant’s attributes in mind to enhance their body and not overpower it
The pageant is associated with a panel of experts from a cross section of industries related to fitness, diet, fashion, lifestyle, beauty and grooming who have trained the finalists to present a fine display of charm, panache, poise and determination. With a dynamic and holistic training program for the contestants, the gratification the winners stand to gain run into crores. The finalists were seen enjoying a luxurious and pleasant stay offered by the official hospitality & venue partner – The Westin Mumbai Garden City.
