Mumbai, June 2, 2013: Fevicol, the largest selling brand of adhesives in Asia and a part of Pidilite Industries, hosted its much awaited 8th Annual ‘Caring with Style’ Fashion Show in association with The Cancer Patients Aid Association, at Cricket Club of India (CCI), Mumbai on June 02, 2013.

This initiative is a part of Fevicol’s continuous commitment to support people suffering from cancer for the 8th year in succession.
At the event, style icons from the film fraternity, prominent industrialists and achievers from different walks of life, including Juhi Chawla, Asha Parekh, Waheeda Rehman who was walking the ramp for the first time, Dia Mirza, Amisha Patel, Shriya Saran, Madhoo, Neha Dhupia, Chunkey Pandey, Geeta Basra, Pankaj Udhas, Terence Lewis, Shweta Kawatra, Sophi Chaudhary among others sashayed down the ramp dressed in creations by Manish Malhotra and Shaina NC. The show was also marked by the high voltage performances by Sajid-Wajid, Mohit, Shilpa Rao and Meiyang Chang.

Fevicol, a market leader in adhesives in India, organized the ‘Caring with Style’ Fashion Show to acknowledge the brilliant achievements of around 75 successful men and women for their selfless contribution to society.

The event is known for its glamorous and stylish appeal where the crème de la crème of society rub shoulders with each other to raise funds for this noble cause.

Fevicol as a corporate feels extremely humbled to be associated with CPA for a noble cause such as ‘Caring with Style’ for the past eight years. This show has given them the opportunity to acknowledge cancer survivors and great achievers from different walks of life on the same platform that celebrates life.

A proud Shaina NC said, “We have received immeasurable support for children suffering from cancer through this event in the past, and this year too we have received an overwhelming response. Sapru, Founder Chairman – Cancer Patients Aid Association, while revealing that blood cancer or leukemia in children is one of the biggest killers in India and 95% of its patients cannot afford treatment said, “Through this show we are once again raising funds to save the lives of several children suffering from blood cancer. We are very grateful to everyone who came here to support CPAA and we would also like to thank Fevicol for their commitment to this cause over the years.”
