ABIL Pune Fashion Week kick starts with a bang! Rocky S, Vikram Phadnis, Satya Paul, Nandita Mahtani, Raakesh Agarvwal, Mandira Wirk, Surily Goel, Malini Agarwala will set the ramp on fire alongside Pune’s own Deepak Shah, Moushmi Sanas, Seema Singh and Nivedita Saboo on the 18th, 19th and 20th of November.

Pune’s fashionistas, movers and shakers will witness Pune Fashion Week – season II with the best of Indian designers, models and showstoppers. Pune Fashion Week has arrived with a brand new look and promises a never before – luxury experience for Pune’s fashion conscious-elite. Pune Fashion Week II promises the best of production values and choreography to complement the top of the line models and designers. PFW has partnered with ABIL (Avinash Bhosale Group) and Baramati Textile Park to add value to this super-premium event.

Mentored by Vikram Phadnis and Nivedita Saboo from the designer fraternity, PFW 2010 is led by Mr. Badal Saboo, MD, PFW from NIFT, Delhi. Mr. Badal Saboo, MD, PFW adds, “Pune will witness a never seen before spectacle at the premium Pune Fashion week 2010. In the presence of various ace designers all under one roof, the PFW will offer a seamless display of fashion culture to the fashionistas. Our focus shall always remain on the business of fashion”

PFW will give fashion lovers in Pune more opportunities to see their favourite designers’ collections, models and fashion trends. PFW promises more glamour and is going to be a continued initiative to put Pune onto the fashion map of India. Designers will get to spread awareness amongst Pune’s fashion elite on their collections. This will also be a good platform for local designers to have their offerings showcased in a premium show. There will also be a premium, designer high street with luxury retail brands and designers collections for Pune patrons to browse through.

Raakesh Agarvwal kicks off the Pune Fashion Week with his stunning couture debut in Pune, a show and a collection that will set the city’s style temperature soaring. Surily Goel, Mandira Wirk and Satya Paul complete Day 1 with elegance, style and some stunning showstoppers.

After this feast for the senses comes Day 2 with Payal Singhal, Malini Agarwala, Golecha Jewels and Nivedita Saboo. Nivedita showcases her Morocco influenced collection with embellishments and a beautiful palette of colours. There is an Audi lounge all day with cocktails and refreshments as well as trendy Audi merchandise on display. Day 2 ends with Vikram Phadnis and his stunning collection with the contradictory hues of wedding finery and shades of black.

Day 3 of Pune fashion week has Pune’s own Seema Singh; Deepak Shah with his innovative men’s clothing and launching his range of men’s footwear. Following them Nandita Mahtani with her eveningwear resort line, easy fashion in simple basic cuts that will appeal to women of all ages. The Pune Fashion week closes with Rocky S and his super finale.

November 19, 2010 -Day One of ABIL Pune Fashion Week Started with a Bang yesterday! Raakesh Agarvwal began the ?magic with ‘Diamonds are Forever’ and glittering, magical creations.? Surily Goel showed her resort wear with relaxed clothes for the ?fashion diva. Mandira Wirk showcased her versatility with gowns, ? dresses, saris and a menswear line. The night ended on a high with? Satya Paul’s mystical Art of Tarot Collection.

Hospitality provider Westin was the perfect venue for a show of this? scale. Perfect production values, pulsating music and the awe ?inspiring fashion left the audience asking for more. Today’s line up of? Payal Singhal, Malini Agarwalla &Vijay Golecha, Nivedita Saboo and? Vikram Phadnis promise to continue the excitement. Payal Singhal showcased her festive indo western collection with Churidar, Kurtas, Jackets, Jumpsuits, Sarees and Lehengas.
