Well known couturiers Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor launched their label, ‘Surya’ in February of 1996 and since then, there has been no looking back for them. Over the time, the husband wife designer duo have recorded a meteoric growth in terms of achieving outstanding turnovers and attracting an enviable clientele including the likes of Madhuri Dixit (for the inaugural episode for Kahin Na Kahin Koyi Hai), Rani Mukherjee (Chori Chori Chupke Chupke ), Rati Agnihothri (Zee music awards). They were also the official designers for Gladrags Mrs. India 2006 pageant.
The hub of all their creativity is the studio cum workshop in Noida. SURYA retails from the famed Kimaya in Mumbai, Designers Lounge in Dubai and Sanskriti in Hong Kong.

Their forte remains the creation of fusion, (prêt) wedding occasion wear for the family, besides trousseau wear and wedding lehengas for the bride. Traditional motifs and embroideries find new avatars in modern stylish silhouettes for the bridal lehenga. Ornate and rich, but in a sublime understated way, their bridal collection combines old world decadence with contemporary elegance.
