A loud rhythmic music gave a peppy start to the Autmn-Winter collection by Rajdeep Ranawat and Naresh Chauhan. There was distinguishable emphasis on subtle thread embroideries appearing like fine strokes on a range of silhouettes, which included Kaftans, contrast godet overlay chiffon jackets. Lycra snug-fitted bodies made chic feminine statement. The collection is meant for the women of today, who knows how to pick her style and is well aware of her surroundings.
The palette comprised blues, greens, browns turquoise and off-whites. Certain elements that stood out were large protruding thread embroideries over knee-length skirts in submissive colorful way. There were handkerchief hemlines as well as laser cut felt floral embroideries. A great combo of lose tunics was teamed with leggings in stark colours. Chauhan beautifully teamed overlap noodle strap dresses with blue leggings. The drawstring ruched side seams created an interesting impact. A widely visible feature was the usage of leather at the right places. In addition, unforgettable floral digital prints ran all across the collection.
Faux fur and woolen headgears were followed by fitted sleeves with loose bodies. The designer showcased mixed floral prints in purplish tones with highlights of red and yellow. The embroideries and prints coordinated well as if seeking a mutual inspiration amongst each other. At times, the garments drew attention with psychedelic prints. The footwear range had few elements incorporated, which made them integral part of the collection.
