Director Suhaib Ilyasi has done it. Almost everybody’s jaws fell off when they spotted the duplicate of PM Manmohan Singh on the sets of Suhaib’s film “498A-the Wedding Gift”, when the shoot was going on in Delhi. He was so strikingly a look alike that for a few moments some people thought that the PM himself had arrived. It was only when they did not see any motorcade and security that reality hit. They realized that it was Gurmeet Singh, who looks exactly like prime minister of India Manmohan Singh. Sushma Seth, Farida Jalaal and director Suhaib Ilyasi were all present at the sets during this scene.
The 65-year-old Jangpura resident Gurmeet Singh told everyone that for the longest time, people have been mistaking 
him for the PM. “Wherever I go, log at least 100-200 photos toh khichwate hain mere saath. I go to Lodhi Garden for my daily walk, and people often ask me if it is possible for the PM to come there without security. Bachche bhi darte darte photo kichne ke liye puchte hain,” he says. ‘Wow’ is all that we can say.
Suhaib Ilyasi, the very famous host of crime show “India’s Most Wanted”, is now making a movie on a criminal act 498A. The movie has been titled ‘498A- The Wedding Gift’ because as Section 498A in Indian law belongs to dowry cases in the country. Star cast o the film includes Alok Nath, Farida Jalal, Supriya Karnik, Deepak Tijori etc. Lead of the film is played by new comers Harsh Nagar and Shrishti Gautam.
The movie is being produced under the banner of Aliya Productions Pvt Ltd.
