Shourya Chauhaan in her first ever full fledged role as a main lead will be seen next in Rakesh Sarang’s Horn Ok Pleassss. An ardent Nana fan, she was mightily impressed by acting alongside him in the film. Now she is hoping to be paired alongside him. The beautiful newcomer earlier seen in a song along side Salman Khan in Kyon Ki and in a small role in Vikram Bhatt’s Mumbai Salsa tells us, “I had heard so many negative stories about Nana before we began shoot for Horn Ok Pleassss. ”
So I was really very scared on the first day of my shoot with him. That time, his Welcome had just released and everybody would look up to him. I had heard that he is a very short tempered and a temperamental person. That he shouts at smallest of the issues. I was literally shivering while sitting and waiting for my call in my vanity van. I did not know how to behave in front of him or what to say to him. By the time I reached the spot in the Mall where the shoot was held, I was literally a bundle of nerves.”
However, the actress says that when Nana looked at her and smiled her fears were put to rest but not completely. “Nana was busy giving his own shots but he suddenly realized how nervous and jittery I was. He the smiled at me and started encouraging me when I was giving my shot. In the end, he even said in marathi ‘Changli mulgi ahe’ (She’s a nice girl). I realized that all the talk about his hot headedness was just humbug. He is basically a very nice person,” gushes Shourya Chauhaan.
In fact, so besotted is she with Nana’s charms, that given a chance, she wants to play the romantic lead opposite Nana someday. “Yes why not? He is an amazing actor and a great human being. I would love to play his heroine!”
