Kamaal Khan started his next film with the same controversial title Deshdrohi at j w marriot.Mahurat was supposed to start at 1.30pm but it started at 2.20pm as the chief guest Shriprakash Jaiswal home minister reached late for the function.Kripa Shanker Singh broke the coconut ,Mahesh Bhatt gave the clap and directed the mahurat shot on Aslam Khan playing the role of KASAB and Kamaal Khan playing the role of ATS officer.Siddarth Kannan is also playing ATS officer in the film.
Manisha Koirala came to wish all the best to his brother for the film.Sanjay Jha director of the film was very happy with the response of media and guest.Siddarth Kanan was the host of the event who kept the guest spilts.Mona Thiba,Jyoti and Urvashi are playing reporters in the film.Fiza was a surprise guest for everyone in the mahurat as she told to media that she is also playing one important role in the film.Music of the film is given by DJ Sheizwood and lyrics by Sameer.The film is based on the 26th november attack on mumbai at taj and narimon house.
