Artist and Colour Therapist Amisha Mehta organised a unique entertaining yet therapeutic movement, colour dance integrating art-colour therapy and music therapy to bring out the best in children, a workshop with the kids of Make-A-Wish Foundation on the 16th of March at Abu Malik Studio in Andheri. This workshop aimed at highlighting the need to think beyond the curriculum.
Amisha Mehta, who’s done pioneering work to integrate the link between mental development and colour therapy, stressed the need to recognize the fact so that the youth of today get a chance to witness the overall experience of integrated growth.
Over 10 children from Make-A-Wish Foundation(the foundation grants wishes of kids with life threatening illness) giving artist Amisha Mehta company in this social cause along with Music Director Abu Malik, DJ Neeraj, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shonaa Gonslaves, actor Kapil Sharma, Gavie Chahal, Neha Yadav and Aditya Singh Rajput.
In her comments about the initiative, Amisha added, “Colours indicate the playful side of your personality that isn’t brought out by the existing curriculum. It’s needs to be addressed for the betterment of the kids.â€
