Himesh-Hansika-Sushmita team up for Karz Remake

Oh, I had one of the most hectic weeks ever! I mean, it’s no mean feat to keep track of our filmi junta and the weird antics they seem to be up to all the time, you know. I tell you, sometimes they send me into an absolute tizzy with the bizarre stuff that they do. And all for recognition, tch tch. It’s almost sad, but not so sad that it can’t be mentioned between friends! So gear up for some red hot Bollywood news.

Himesh Reshammiah, Hansika Motwani, Sushmita Sen in Himesh’s Next, remake of Karz

I have always felt that Sushmita Sen is an actress who exudes pure poise and confidence. Uber sexy and classy, she is on every girl’s list of idols. So it seems rather weird when she agreed to do a vamp’s role in Himesh Reshammiya’s next. Yes, you heard me right; she is doing a film with not only grey, but absolute black shades in his next film. What’s more, it’s not just any film; it’s the remake of Karz. It seems the jack of all trades Reshammiya saw her as the perfect actress to play the evil conniving role essayed by Simi Garewal in the original. Thinking who will be Tina Munim? That’s also fixed- the debutante from his first- Hansika Motwani. May be Himesh is going the Ram Gopal Verma way is obsessed with the girl. But what ever is said, he does seem to cast the best for his villains. Let’s just hope that l’il Miss Motwani does not commit the folly of calling Sush “Aunty” like she did with Mallika. This Jhansi ki Rani will not leave her then!

Sushmita Sen

While on the topic of Sush, there is a lot of word going around. As seen from our last talk, she is making no bones about seeing Bunty Sachdev. But you have to hand it to her, she is certainly more civilized than the other girls around because if it was someone else, she would not waste any time trashing her beau’s ex flame. But Sush has real style because as soon as they decided to go public, she met up with Bunty’s ex- Dia Mirza and cleared the air. She is said to have assured Dia that nothing will affect their friendship. Wow, that’s mature. Dia was truly touched by this frankness and gifted Sush with a painting she made. Looks like there is no love lost here…and to add an exclamation to that, though Sush is in a new relationship now, she is not completely consumed by it. Far from it, because she still has a mother of a poster of her ex- Randeep Hooda adorning her hallway. You better be getting the message loud and clear dear boy Bunty- this is a cool babe, so tread carefully.

From the ultra confident, to the ultra jealous. Oh yes, we are talking about darling John Abraham who is deep in the pits off late. I think even he has finally come to terms with the end of his beautiful relationship with the ultra hot Bipasha Basu. If people are to be believed, it’s like his lady luck has left him because his career is not so hot right now. A déjà vu involving a certain Dino Morea anyone? Anyway, getting on, he keeps moping all over the place now. He has also been trying desperately to act like everything is cool with Arshad Warsi. Though they smile pretty for the shutter bugs, it’s a different story inside. Guess Arshad won’t be forgetting the shabby way John and Bips treated him during the shooting of Goal because recently, he threw a party for the entire cast and crew of the film and everyone who was involved was there. Except John and Bipasha, that is. Hey john, look on the bright side, may be the invitation got lost in the mail…

I wish that was all I had to say about the poor guy, but sadly its not. Known for his friendly nature and habit for going out of his way to help people with work out routines and all, it comes as a rude shock when one hears that he has been handing out damaging advice. Oh yes, a couple of people have found themselves at the receiving end of the scorned actor’s wrath as routines and diets given by him have backfired badly. Hmmm, John baby, you better clean up your act before you have no friends remaining…

Kareena Kapoor

Oh dear, I feel so bad; but at least someone else is having a good time. After the best couple of Bollywood- John and Bips have called to quit, it’s time for another love boat to rock. The next in line celebrity couple is undoubtedly that of Shahid and Kareena. Just when you thought that nothing could go wrong, as they seem joined at the hip, the cracks have started showing. Nothing much, the classic romp during outdoor is what the story is about. Kareena just got back from Ladakh after a shoot with bachelor no. 1 Saif Ali Khan. Maybe it was really cold out there because there are talks floating around about how close the two were. After Bipasha, it’s now Kareena that the chote Nawab is being linked with. All I have to say is watch out dear Saif; we would not want to see your pretty face ruined when jilted heroes get together to bash you up…

I tell you, its quite upsetting to hear about such naughty things. I have a bad taste in my mouth. So, to end on a sweet note, let me tell you abut something good happening. Remember Sameera Reddy? Well, though not seen too much in films nowadays, she is doing something good with her free time. She has thrown herself into social work. You see, a couple of days back, she came to know about a few orphan girls who were being thrown out of a flat. She immediately rushed to the spot and tried to set things right. Even now, she is busy trying to raise money to shelter the poor girls. Is that not nice to hear? Great work Sameera! Keep it up! Need any help, all you need to do is ask…
