Shillpa Purii’s latest jewellery collection was unveiled with great fanfare at FUEL, Opera house amidst the presence of socialites and celebrities over High Tea. Gary Richardson was amongst the early birds and was engaged in an extended animated conversation with Viveck Shettyy over piping hot idlis and spicy cocktail samosas. Naaz Zaveri came in minus Remu for this largely all women affair.

Shillpa Purii designer jewellery, an invention by Shillpa Purii was started in the year 1992 after she completed her Jewellery designing course from Hong Kong and GIA Gemology. Her collection mainly comprises of gold, diamonds, kundan and jadau which not only adds colours to the celebrations but is also well suited for the Indian audiences. She added a new line of jewellery in 2004 by using silver, American diamonds and semi precious stones which were well appreciated. Her high profile clientele comprises of Mana Shetty, Sharmilla Khanna, Dipti Ambani, Pinky Roshan, Pammi Gavaskar, Sushmita Sen and many others. Her designer jewellery is a part of various boutiques like Kimaya, Cypress, Fuel and Mogra in Mumbai and also stores in Dubai, Delhi, Kolkatta, and Chennai. In addition to this, she has also expanded in India via exhibitions like IMC (Indian Merchant’s Chamber), Vivaah, and the likes in London, Dubai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, etc.
