About Dom Pérignon
“Come quickly I am tasting the stars.”- Dom Pérignon, at the moment he discovered Champagne
In 1668, a Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon set out to create the “best wine in the world,” in Hautevillers in France. What he discovered was more than just the “best wine.”
He discovered Champagne.
Dom Pérignon is a vintage champagne, meaning that it is only made in the best years, and all grapes used to make the wine are harvested in the same year. An authentic, mythical brand such as Dom Pérignon is the iconic reference of Luxury today. It is often defined as Luxury in a bottle and is one of the oldest Luxury brands in the world.
