The singer, writer and composer within Hemant Tantia was literally on a song on this memorable occasion as he offered a musical tribute to the Demi God of cricket which was aptly titled “Ye hai Sachin”. Doing on the honors on this chosen day for Hemant Tantia were Sanjay Khan, Mukesh Rishi, Zarine khan, Shravan Rathod, Farah Khan, Kiran Shantaram, Talat Aziz and Babloo Aziz.
The evening was anchored by Viveck Shettyy with great flamboyance and a generous sprinkling of humour. Hemant Tantia, an IRS (Indian Revenue Service) officer is currently posted as Assistant Commissioner – Customs n Central Excise – zone 2 and has a great passion for music. “Ye hai Sachin” is a non commercial musical tribute to Sachin and the song is available freely across YouTube and all other online media for music. With touching lyrics and great melody, this song promises to capture the imagination of Sachin Tendulkar fans and cricket lovers across the globe.
Shri Sanjay Patil, Honorable Loksabha MP, made his presence felt despite his hectic schedules and appreciated the effort, energy and passion of Hemant Tantia. He was further engaged in an extended with his friend Viveck Shettyy. Umaesh Pherwani looked fit as a fiddle and joined the celebrations with ace celebrity trainer Vinod Channa. Reputed Painter Charan Sharma was spotted on the circuit after a long time and was accompanied by his wife Nimisha Sharma. Model and actress Vedika was the black magic woman of the evening. Gary Richardson was well and truly in his elements and was accompanied by Ruby Dalvina.
Hemant Tantiya launched his first music album “Madhoshi” in 2008 which was very well received by audiences. “Jhoomta Hua Mausam” is the next album on the cards slated for release later this year and yes he also promises to work his magic with the pen with his very own book. When it comes to sheer versatility, Hemant takes the cake.
But for the moment we are only singing “Ye hai Sachin” and “Happy Birthday Sachin”.
