Samsaara presents ‘I Love Mumbai’ A charity-fest featuring the country’s top designers. Mumbai, Saturday, January 10, 2009: Samsaara, The Luxurious Abode of Fashion, launched its I Love Mumbai exhibition, a charity-fest featuring some of the leading names of the Indian fashion sorority. I Love Mumbai is a week-long exhibition at Samsaara where the works of designers –Mana & Isha , Surily Goel, Manish Malhotra, Neeta Lulla, Vikram Phadnis, Deepika Gehani, Malini Agarwal, Rashmi Dogra, Priyali Chopra, QDT – Italian lounge wear ( brought in by Roohi Jaikishan) , Gopi Vaid, Rocky S, Arpan Vohra, Prashant Verma, Neomy Khatau, Charu Parashar, Satya Paul, Falguni & Shane Peacock are being displayed, a percentage of the sales of these will be donated to I Love Mumbai for its rehabilitations programmes for the Mumbai terror victims. The exhibition has been conceptualized by Sharmilla Khanna and Mumbaikars turned up in large numbers to support the cause.
Talking about the exhibition, Sanjay Kapoor of Samsaara said, “Samsaara has always promoted worthy causes. In fact, we were very much personally affected by the Mumbai tragedy since we are at a stone’s throw distance from the Taj. Like every other Indian we felt the sense of despair and prayed for the well-being of everyone affected by these attacks including our team. We are very grateful to our participating 18 designers who have partnered with us for making I Love Mumbai a success”.
Apart from the designers, Leopolds Café supported the I Love Mumbai charity fest by whipping up a delectable menu.

All the guests pinned on “Samsaara I love Mumbai “badges to show solidarity. The ladies shopped generously and contributed to the cause.
