Friday April 1, 2011: Grazia, one of the country’s most stylish magazine titles, celebrated its third birthday in style. The anniversary issue, in a recharged and revamped avatar, was launched at a fun filled party at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai.
The evening saw a turn out of the Indian fashion fraternity, Mumbai’s glamorous best, Bollywood, and the who’s who of the corporate world.
Guests turned up styled to perfection – chic and elegant. The glittering event was a casino themed night replete with roulette and blackjack tables, fragrance and wine casino games and every guest stood a chance to leave with armloads of prizes, from romantic dinners at the city’s top restaurants to fashion goodies from top labels. The event spelt out ‘fun’ and ‘fashion’ as the guests gambled the night away.
The anniversary issue was unveiled by our Guest of Honour and The Honorary President of the Fendi group, Carla Fendi, who has come to India especially for this occasion along with Tarun Rai – Chief Executive Officer, Worldwide Media, Mehernaaz Dhondy – Editor, Grazia and Anupama Bhalla – Brand Publisher, Grazia. Cover girl, leading actress Kareena Kapoor, was unable to attend due to a prior committed shoot she but sent her best wishes.
