Pinky Roshan, Geeta Basra at designer Ushma Vaidya's debut festive collection preview

Ushma Vaidya presented her festive collection over wine and cheese at Dvar , Juhu. Pinky Roshan, Geeta Basra, Abhimanyu Dassani, Model Malvika Raaj and Meghna Naidu came to give their good wishes to the young designer. Geeta Basra and model Malvika Raaj wore Ushma’s designs. Geeta looked stunning in a yellow floor length anarkali with sequence and resham detailing with raw silk pants and Malvika Raaj was spotted wearing shades of coral and pink colour block anarkali with zardosi border on the dupatta from Ushma’s vibrant festive collection.

Ushma Vaidya’s ensembles cater to women’s couture wear. Ushma’s latest collection is a mix of floor length anarkalis, kalidars with palazzos,colour blocked tunics and lehengas detailed with intricate hand embroidery in champagne and gold zardosi and mirror work. She aims to cater to the contemporary modern day new age women. Her latest styles in colors of pink, peach, orange, light blue and royal blue in flowy georgette fabric and raw silks.
Ushma’s design philosophy is distinct feminine and refined. Her latest collection is a combination of well tailored silhouettes and drapes. The garments are meticulously crafted to styles that are luxurious yet understated with an emphasis on colour combinations and cuts.
