RAINBOW 2012 by AARTI VIJAY GUPTA Mumbai / January 1, 2012: New Year’s Eve saw one of the biggest fiestas that B-Town luminaries dared not to miss, Rainbow 2012 by coveted designer Aarti Vijay Gupta at Rude Lounge in Mumbai.
At Rude Lounge on New Year’s Eve, i.e. 31st December, 2011 from 10.30pm onwards there was a parade of B-Town celebrities, fireworks, Belly dancing, unlimited food and cocktails.
Guests experienced an extravagant fashion show in a riot of vibrant rainbow colours as 2011 culminated and celebrated the beginning of 2012.
Rainbow 2012 by designer AartiVijay Gupta at Rude Lounge saw Gary Richardson flaunting a white linen bandhgala jodhpuri, while heartthrob Abhishek Avasthi looked handsome in a three piece white linen tuxedo.
The coveted designer AartiVijuy Gupta flaunted a modish animal print silk wrap up dress that made her look very sensual, while item-girl Shifanjali Rao flaunted a peach balloon sleeves pleated dress that made her look beautiful.
Thus, the New Year’s Eve at Rainbow 2012 by AartiVijay Gupta saw sizzling performances by the celebrities with a parade of B-Town luminaries, fire-works, and a promise to make this year even more stylish…
The next fashion show by celebrated designer-cum-socialite Aarti Vijay Gupta is scheduled on January 7, 2012 – 9 pm onwards on the eve of her birthday on January 8, 2012 at Escobar, Linking Road, Bandra West in Mumbai and it is bound to be another fashion night not to be missed by Tinsel Town’s fashionistas…
About the Designer –
Aarti Vijay Gupta launched her label in July 2009, in Mumbai barely two months old and label was already a hit at Kolkata fashion week SS”10 (9th – 13th Sep’09) , Dubai Fashion Week SS’10 (24th – 29th Oct’09) , Bridal Asia Dubai (10th – 12th Feb ‘10), Dubai Fashion Week A/W ’10 (3rd- 7th April ‘10) and India Premier London Fashion Week A/w ’10 (10th – 13th May ‘10).
Her first collection won the stamp of approval from none other then Ritu Kumar, who saw the collection at Kolkata Fashion Week and found it very refreshing. Good design ensures that the object functions as it should, has a level of meaning, is aesthetically pleasing to the client, is structurally sound, and has perfect fit and flawless finish.
Her ideal of clothing as an art form is in cleanness of line and balance Minimalism shows purity of details. Her details contain structure, texture, and fabrication, tailoring and finishing. Her sensibility is organic through feminine, modern, and fluid but cut for comfort.
