Mumbai, 25th May, 2014: After getting dragged by choppers, breaking glass walls, walking between bridges suspended in the air, befriending the wild animals & creepy crawlies and shedding blood, sweat with his daredevilry and gutsy attitude Rajniesh Duggal proved his action prowess and emerged as the winner of COLORS’s Khatron Ke Khiladi: Darr Ka Blockbuster.
The thrilling Grand Finale evening where Rajniesh was declared to be the ultimate Khiladi was graced by the undisputed action star of Bollywood – Ajay Devgn – who handed over the coveted trophy to the winner along with prize money of Rs.25 lakh and a Mahindra Scorpio car. The season’s finale stunt designed by the stunt architect Rohit Shetty was the most bewildering stunt of the whole season where they finalists had to battle out air, water, earth, fire massive explosions. While Rajniesh made it way to the top rough-n-tough Nikitin Dheer and Gurmeet Chaudhary was the first and second runner up respectively.
After proving his mettle as a model and actor, Khatron Ke Khiladi was Rajniesh Duggal’s way of rediscovering his adventurous side while conquering his personal fears – the biggest of them being the fear of creepy crawlies. Rajniesh soon became one of the most promising contestants of the season because of his brilliant performances which showcased uninhibited confidence. In fact, his confidence levels soared with every stunt to the extent that Rajniesh seldom showcased any kind of fear which also encouraged his fellow contestants to do their absolute best every time. Making the finale more exhilarating, the action maestro Rohit Shetty was himself seen, showcasing his action prowess by performing breath-taking stunts like pushups and splits between two moving cars. Adding a dash of glamour, the finale episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi also saw contestants from COLORS’ premier dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa matching steps with our finalists. Their combined performances made the finale episode full of high octane entertainment, and left the audiences asking for more!
