Let’s Design is a platform that recognizes individuals who embody the spirit of innovation, versatility and creativity while working with cotton. This year’s five finalists are Dhruv Singh from NIFT Ahmedabad, Mazhar Khan from NIFT Kolkata, Kanika Seth and Kritika Gupta representing Pearl Academy of Fashion New Delhi, and Aniket Satnam from B.D. Somani College in Mumbai. Each finalist was asked to create a capsule collection consisting of three looks – prêt, diffusion and couture out of Supima, the world’s finest cottons.

“Season four of Let’s Designsaw a great deal of creativity and innovation”, said CCI Representative, Mr. Sachit Bhatia, “I know our judges had a very difficult time in selecting the winner. With Let’s Design we believe in eliciting the latent talent of aspiring young designers and highlighting the fashion potential of cotton”.

“It was a pleasure for my brother and I to be part of Let’s Design season four”, said jury member Shantanu Mehra. “The competition was very strong and all contestants should be proud of their achievements. It’s also great to see cotton getting this kind of fashion focus. I think designers, young and old, have overlooked cotton for ‘modern fabrics’, forgetting that the same looks and feels can be achieved in cotton without sacrificing comfort”.
