Mumbai, February 2012: 27 graduating students showcased their assorted mix of creative design at TVASHTAR 2012. This year the collection was dedicated to promote dying art forms of India. Eclectic mix of Celebs & Socialites seen at the event. Mandira Bedi, Aditi Gowitrikar, Ashmit Patel, Swapnil Shinde, Archana Kochhar, Sandeep Soparkar, Sabina Singh, VJ Ramona, Vinod Nair, Siddharth Kher, Shraddha Das, Salim Asgarally, Vinta Nannda, Manali Jagtap, Vicky Idnani, Zainub Shaikh, Ashissh Sharma, Tina Bedi, Jatin Kampani, Miss Malini, Leena Mogre, Nisha Merchant . Models – Aanchal Kumar, Adam Bedi, Shamita Singha, Sandhya Shetty, Chahat Sabaji and the beautiful Get Gorgeous winner Iris Maity sizzled the ramp with students creations & show was choreographed and directed by Nisha Harale.

As the title suggests ‘Culture of India’, it was a tribute to the land of varied cultures and students of Sophia College merged the essence of different lands and their own creativity to fashion garments that were visually stunning, incredibly innovative and unmistakably modern. VISTAS OF ETERNITY – Ladakh were the winning collection of the year. It was raining claps and cheers as family and friends of students were there to support them.
