Fruits of Fashion! Rehane connotes a fruity make-over this season. It was a great chemistry juxtaposing lacey mesh, and tulle on multi-colour stripes. The re was altogether a warm feel given by the designer through this line. It seemed more like a revolt in a favorable manner!
The silhouettes were more western, incorporating this season’s most lovable shift dresses, tube dresses and tunics, patched with floral mesh. The tunics with symmetric necklines were tucked in to the A-line short skirts.
Also a Red-Indian connection surfaced, teaming the bodies with short fringed boleros. Floral prints were evidently broken at places by multi-coloured stripes. The second layer which was in the form of threadwork tulle provided a new thought-wave to the shapes.
The accessories played a vital role, drawing a lot of attention to them. There were multi-striped tie-belts flattering the physical parameters. A major eye-catcher and a focal-point of the collection were the headgear, which brought out the most amazing life-like shapes, and genuinely made the heads turn. It incorporated fruit-like and flower-like structures placed neatly along with fringed bags in suede and nappa-leather which coordinated the whole look very well.
