Shweta Sharda, Sonal Kukreja, Trisha Shetty at Miss Diva Finale on 27th August 2023
The Miss Diva Universe pageant took place in Mumbai this past Sunday, where Shweta Sharda was crowned Miss Diva Universe 2023. As a result, Shweta will go on to represent India in the 72nd Miss Universe pageant scheduled to be held in El Salvador later this year in November.
Additionally, Sonal Kukreja from Delhi was titled Miss Diva Supranational 2023, and Trisha Shetty from Karnataka was the first runner-up of the Miss Diva Universe 2023. Sonal will represent India at the 12th Miss Supranational competition.
During the grand finale, Shweta donned a dazzling gold and brown outfit with a thigh-high cut. The moment her name was announced as the winner, she was overcome with emotion. The reigning Miss Diva Universe, Divita Rai, crowned her as her successor.
Born in Chandigarh, Shweta moved to Mumbai when she was just 16 years old. According to Femina Beauty Pageants, she faced financial struggles during her early years in the city. She completed her school education under the CBSE board and is currently pursuing her graduation from the Indira National Open College.
The 22-year-old has also participated in several dance reality shows, including Jhalak Dikhlaja, Dance India Dance (DID), Dance+, and Dance Deewane. Moreover, she served as a choreographer on Jhalak Dikhlaja.
