On Wednesday, makers of Behen Hogi Teri hosted special screening of the film in Mumbai. Many bollywood celebrities like Shruti Hassan, Gulshan Grover, Darshan Jariwala, Kartik Aryan, Vicky Kaushal, Ragini Khanna, Gulshan Devaiah, Abbas-Mastan, Mustafa Burmawala, Sonal Chauhal, Anubha Sinha, Darsheel Safary and Ninad Kamath attended screening of the film.
Here’s what celebrities has to about the film –
Mustafa Burmawala: I have seen the trailer. It is looking very funny film so I am expecting a lot from it. Its first production venture of Anshul-Amol so I want to wish them success for this film.
Vicky Kaushal – I am looking forward to fun-filled entertaining film. I absolutely loved the trailer of the film. I wish all the best to Rajkummar Rao, Shruti Hassan, Amol-Anshul for their film.
There is a speculation that Vicky Kaushal might be working with Alia Bhatt in Meghna Gulzar’s film based on Kashir issue, when asked about that, He refused to comment on it and praised Alia saying, “I would definitely work with Alia as she is fantastic actress. I liked all her films especially Udta Punjab.
Gulshan Grover – I am not nervous about the film. Producers are happy with the film. Earlier, we shown this film to media and industry people and they really liked it. It’s an entertaining romantic comedy film. I am playing negative character in the film. There is lot trouble in love story of this film and it increases lot more when my character enters in the film.
Salman Yusuf Khan –I really liked the trailer. I am very excited to see this film. I have my friend Harry and Rajkummar Rao in it so wishing all the best to them.
Salman is lead in a film called Love U Family and producers of that film accused him of asking extra money to promote a film, when asked about that Salman said, “I am super excited for both these film because both are releasing on same day. The only clarity I have is that film hasn’t been made, the way I have been promised by producers of the film”
He also shared his future project, “I am working in India’s first ball room dance movie which is being produced by Remo D’Souza.
Shruti Hassan – I am very excited for the film because I feel audience is going to love this film. It’s an entertaining film which you can watch with your friends and family. I am looking forward to positive response from the audience including my family.
She also talked about social media, “Social media is wonderful platform. Through social media, we can connect with our fans. It has lot of positive benefits. Sometimes it goes overboard but it’s up to you how you choose to balance it.
Ragini Khanna – I really liked the trailer. I am looking forward to have great time with this film.
She also talked about celebrities and social media, “Social media is great platform to get access of the people. If you want to communicate something then it’s a great tool but at the same time it also comes with certain responsibilities because if you are popular and people folloe you then you have to be mindful about expressing your opinions about certain issue.”
Kartik Aryan – The trailer of this film is really good. Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Hassan looking great in the film. I want to wish all the best to Amol-Anshul who are the producers of this film. I really can’t wait to watch the film.
Talking about his own film Guest Iin London, “I am happy that trailer of the film is well received. Our film is also quite funny. I hope both films works at box-office”
There was change in title was because Panorama Studios were in discussion with Warner Bros. Pictures to actually make the sequel of that film, and Warner Bros. Pictures, who own the rights to that film and its sequel, are keen to make the film once they have the perfect story to follow “Atithi… Tum Kab Jaoge?”
Talking about controversy relating to name of the film, he said, “There is no controversy as such wit this film. My only duty is to do honest acting in my film. I don’t think there is any other matter. All things are sorted. Film’s release also doesn’t get affected with these things. Title of the film has been changed because of certain issues Producers can give more details about it and I don’t want to create any controversy commenting on it.”
He also shared his next film project, “I am doing another movie with Luv Ranjan which is being produced by T-Series and Luv Ranjan Films. The shoot of the film is in process while I am promoting this film and this film will release around end of the year.
Behen Hogi Teri is directed by Ajay Pannalal and it stars Rajkummar Rao, Shruti Hassan, Gulshan Grover, Gautam Gulati.
It is releasing on 9 June, 2017.
