New Delhi, Monday, January 12, 2009 — The inaugural edition of the Force India Formula One season 2009 Calendar was unveiled today over an exclusive brunch hosted by Dr. Vijay Mallya, Chairman, The UB group and Chairman and Team principal Force India Formula One Team at The Hub, Emporio Mall, New Delhi.
The ‘Force India Formula One season 2009 Calendar’ was launched amongst much fanfare by Bollywood star and a self confessed F1 fan, Arjun Rampal. Also present at the event were the crème de la crème of Delhi’s fashion & social circuit. Anchored by popular VJ Cyrus Broacha, the event commenced with a magnificent dance performance. Commenting on the Force India Formula One Calendar 2009, Atul Kasbekar, said, “I was quite excited at doing something as different as this, because I believe it is a very cool idea conceptually for a photographic image, and it worked out really well. I was extremely kicked about the concept of the drivers sporting the logo of the Force India Formula One Team as a tattoo and they were very charged about the whole idea as well. What was more a matter of pride was that I was shooting the calendar for the only Indian F1 Team which gave me an immense sense of satisfaction in more ways than one!”
