VIKRAM PHADNIS with Malaga launches his exclusive boutique in Juhu on Saturday, 12th December, 2009; Mumbai: Vikram added yet another feather to his cap with the launch of an exclusive designer boutique along with Malaga by Malini Agarwala in Juhu.

Catering to every design aspect for those truly enamored by this design maverick this store is spread over a stunning 3000 sq feet, with a lovely multi leveled space, done up in Vikram’s preferred gold and beige tones, stocks his signature lines of Indian formal and bridal collections along with exquisite bags, footwear and accessories from Malaga.

This venture also debuts Vikram’s exclusive prêt collection for men, further adding to his divergence as a designer. The boutique also houses an in-store wedding consultation studio in association with Dream Kraft, making available to every groom and bride, custom made designs, planning and execution of their dream wedding. From the wedding trousseau designed by Vikram Phadnis himself, to the wedding, the in-house studio will take care of every need making the celebration an occasion of festive jubilation and exquisite perfection.

Spotted at the launch were Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Abbas Mastan, Sonu Nigam, Amrita Rao, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Katrina Kaif with Alvira, Govinda with Narmada and Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti. Also spotted were Fardeen Khan, Harman Baweja and Ramesh Taurani, Arjun Kapoor, Hussain and Tina, Malaika and Arbaaz Khan, Rocky S, Mandira Bedi ,Rohit Roy, Divya Datta.

With this new venture, Malini Agarwalla of Malaga also unveiled her evening wear accessory collection – a range of classic and hip bags in varied sizes and myriad colours matched with contrasting belts, neckpiece and beautifully crafted shoes. This season Malaga will be presenting an entirely new range with its jeweled and prêt collections – a range that is highly versatile and easily blends classic and chic design elements. “We hope the opening of the Juhu store will convenience our suburban clientele. It is a fun way to kick off 2010, with a new venture with Vikram Phadnis who besides being a great friend is a superb designer”, says Malini.
