Hope’s Dilemma: Torn Between Thomas and Liam in The Bold and the Beautiful.Â
Tuesday, August 22, 2023, brought another emotion-filled episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Ridge and RJ express their concerns to Thomas, Brooke implores Hope to salvage her marriage, and Steffy probes Liam about his desires.
At the Forrester mansion, Liam shares with Steffy his belief that he successfully made Hope see Thomas’s true colors. Steffy, however, reminds Liam that it was Hope who initiated the kiss with Thomas in Rome. She questions if he is jeopardizing his marriage and future by focusing on Hope’s choices.
Meanwhile, at the cabin, Brooke expresses her optimism to Hope about the productive conversation she had with Liam. She believes that Hope has lost her way but can find it again by ending things with Thomas and rescuing her marriage.
Hope, however, defends Thomas, asserting that he loves her unconditionally, something she feels Liam cannot offer. Brooke argues that Hope’s changed perspective is influenced by her recent closeness to Thomas and questions if she is rationalizing her infidelity.

At Thomas’s house, he prepares for Hope’s visit by setting out wine glasses and lighting candles. When Hope arrives, Thomas greets her warmly, but senses her hesitation. Hope, conflicted, recounts the painful memories stirred up at Beth’s birthday party.
Thomas, understanding her distress, reaffirms his love and desire for a future with her. Hope, however, is torn, as she acknowledges the validity of Liam’s reminders about Thomas’s past deceit. Thomas, realizing the gravity of the situation, decides to take a decisive step.
At Forrester Creations, RJ presents Ridge with a cupcake from the party and expresses his belief that Hope’s marriage is worth fighting for. Brooke arrives and shares with them her optimism about a possible reconciliation between Hope and Liam.
