Lootera is a film which brings you a unique casting and romantic pairing of Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha. This is also a film which takes you back in time and memories of lost love and emotions. Lootera is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane who earlier made Udaan which stood out as path breaker.

Lootera is about Varun (Ranveer Singh) who comes in the life of Pakhi (Sonakshi Sinha) and spreads Laughter, Happiness and Love. Pakhi who was waiting for her death, Now wants to live life to the fullest. She now has dreams. She now has a ray of hope.

But one day, As the destiny orders, Varun disappears suddenly. A truth explodes and Pakhi’s father passes away with a Stroke. Pakhi decides to move on with her life as she is back to her shattered emotions. Now she is also determined to forget Varun. She arrives in Dalhousie from Bengal. But destiny has a surprise stored for her.

Varun walks into her life again with many unsolved and unanswered mysteries.

Ranveer Singh performs extremely complicated part this time with full confidence. He has done amazingly fantastic justice to his character. Sonakshi Sinha rocks again on the silver screen. The charm and the beauty with innocence of her character, Only draws you more towards her. Divya Dutta is a wonderful talent without a doubt and she is incredible in Lootera. Other cast also leaves a wonderful impact with their performances.

Director Vikramaditya Motwane chooses a script which has been told several times earlier. But what works here are the innocence of the characters which stands out truthful on the screen while you watch them. The director is successful enough to make the right packaging of an emotional romantic journey that stays in your heart.

On the music part, The film has good songs and goes very well with the film. Production Values and camera work is another treat to watch. The old Bengal has been re-created and the cinematography looks like a glossy painting on a canvas. The editing part is little weak in the film.

As I mentioned, Lootera might be a film that makes you think you have seen it many times, But the presentation of the film makes you believe this one to be new. Lootera is surely a film that makes you fall in love again with your partner.

Do watch Lootera with your loved ones.
