They say To Rob a Thief, You have to think like a Thief. You have to behave like a Thief. You have to be like a Thief. Even if you are not a Thief. Bajatey Raho takes the same route in a funnier way where 4 innocent people tries to take on the system of a corrupt man and gives him back what he deserves. Shashant A Shah, The director of Dasvidaniya (2008) and Challo Dilli (2011) brings a comical tale of Honor and Self Respect which makes you laugh and think twice.

Bajatey Raho also reminds you of a Spanish Direct-to-DVD acclaimed film Ladron Que Roba A Ladron (2007) which obviously means “To Rob A Thief”.

The Thief is Sabbarwal (Ravi Kishan) who is on a roll committing a series of frauds. But the evil misdoings of this businessman has created a huge impact on the lives of 4 poor innocent people. Mrs. Baweja (Dolly Ahluwalia), Sukhi (Tusshar Kapoor), Mintoo Hasan (Vinay Pathak) and Ballu (Ranvir Shorey) which has only resulted into an enormous wave of need for vengeance. Now these 4 people are looking out for a revenge from Sabbarwal at any cost.

Without giving away much of the film I would only like to bring to your notice that these 4 innocent people are about to plan a different type of revenge for Sabbarwal. The revenge will be in a language which is best understood by this man.

The film has some wonderful performances by Dolly Ahluwalia, Tusshar, Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak and Vishaka Singh (Of course). All the characters have lived their respective part to the fullest. But the man who takes a walk with the cake is none other but Ravi Kishan. Ravi Kishan literally grows on you in every single frame and at one point of time, He makes sure that you start to hate him. Other cast of the film is good too.

Shashant A Shah has made an Honest effort. Now why i want to call this an Honest effort? Because Shashant A Shah has brought in an Honest story, Extracted some Honest performances for the cast. And made a film which Honestly entertains you. This time the Director looks very confident in making his mark on your brains.

Musically, The film has a music who goes perfectly with the flow. Especially the foot-tapping number “Naagin Dance” which is already a Hit Number with masses. The cinematography and production values are equally good. The Editing part is little weak especially on the Romantic Angle between Tusshar and Vishaka Singh.

Bajatey Raho can be touted as a small film with a big heart. The film entertains will not disappoint you but will entertain you and deserves a watch.
