After ‘Jailer’ hit the Rs 200 crore mark, Rajinikanth celebrated the feat with a soulful visit to the Badrinath Temple.

Iconic actor Rajinikanth recently marked the unparalleled success of his new film ‘Jailer’ by making a heartfelt pilgrimage to the renowned Badrinath Temple situated in Uttarakhand. The film’s staggering achievement, crossing the Rs 200 crore in its box office journey, certainly called for a special celebration.

A clip that quickly gained immense popularity on X (Twitter), captures Rajinikanth in a heartwarming moment. In the video, the celebrated Tamil actor can be seen interacting and sharing warm greetings with devotees, enthusiastic fans, respectful policemen, and temple pandits. Clad in a simple blue sweater, Rajinikanth’s attire spoke volumes about his grounded and unassuming nature.

Choosing to immerse himself in the spiritual ambiance, Rajinikanth devoted over 30 minutes inside the temple precincts, partaking in the soulful Vishnu Sahastranam ritual. His deep-rooted spirituality is no secret, as he often embarks on journeys to visit prominent temples across the nation, whether it’s Somnath, Badrinath, or Brihadesvara.

It was an emotional and memorable experience for the fans, temple priests, and policemen who had the honor of meeting the legendary actor. Rajinikanth, always one to connect with the people, engaged in casual conversations and extended his respectful ‘namaskaram’ to the temple pandits.

Following his heartfelt prayers, the temple priests presented him with a fragrant garland made of tulsi leaves and prasad. Rajinikanth graciously received these offerings. He further immersed himself in the evening’s rituals and sought blessings from the temple’s head priest.

Helmed by the talented Nelson Dilipkumar, ‘Jailer‘ has shattered box office expectations. The film reached the Rs 100 crore benchmark in a mere two days, and industry experts predict it might touch the Rs 500-600 crore mark as its lifetime collection.
