The 4th Gadoya Holdings GR8! Women Awards 2014, Middle East, hosted by Anu & Shashi Ranjan were held at The Sofitel Palms, Dubai on February 15th. Acknowledged across the subcontinent as the ultimate accolade celebrating women who are pushing the boundaries of personal and professional excellence, the glittering awards ceremony had in attendance Dubai’s elite including captains of industry, corporate heads, celebrities, dignitaries and entrepreneurs. Film stars Kangna Ranaut, Shriya Saran & Simi Garewal were some of the luminaries from Bollywood who were present at the do.
Indian TV stars who graced the occassion included : ‘Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon’ star Vivian Dsena, Sidharth Shukla and Shashank Vyas of ‘Balika Vadhu’, Anas Rashid of ‘Diya aur Baati Hum’, Rithvik Dhanjani of Pavitra Rishtra and ‘Nach Baliye 6’, Eijaz Khan of ‘Movie Lucky Kabootar’, Ravi Dubey of ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’, Manav Gohil, Mazher Sayed, Karan Grover. Among the female stars were Sumona Chakravarti of ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ and ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’, Barkha Bisht Sengupta of ‘Parvarrish-Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi’, Shweta Kawaatra of ‘Adalaat’ Mouli Ganguly of ‘Kya Huaa Tera Vaada’, Rati Pandey, Vahbiz Dorabjee, Asha Negi, Surbhi Jyoti and many more to complete the dazzling star cast. Ace fashion photographer Pravin Talan was also present on the occassion.
Bollywood playback singer Harshdeep Kaur performed live some of her superhits like ‘Katiya Karoon’ from ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Heer’ from ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’. India’s Dancing Superstar winner MJ5 also entertained with a sizzling fusion dance show incorporating Bollywood and international styles.
